Q&A
When did you join Kenmare, and which roles have you held during your time with the Company?
I joined Kenmare in January 2024 as Safety Superintendent. I also step up to be Acting Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager when the EHS Manager is on leave.
What training have you received through your role?
I’ve received various training, including undertaking courses in Full Role Delivery, Leader Coach Programme, and Critical Risk Management. The most meaningful course for me was Full Role Delivery. It taught me to break down my leadership role into planning, coaching, and delivering. This balance has sharpened my focus, strengthened how I support my team, and ensured we achieve results while growing together.
What does Kenmare’s purpose of “Transforming resources into opportunity for all” mean to you?
Working here means being part of a heart-centred organisation dedicated to the growth of its employees, suppliers, and the upliftment of its community. I am honoured to be part of an organisation that champions opportunities for young women and builds an environment where they can rise, thrive, and lead — boldly confronting the systemic feminisation of poverty.
Which of KMAD’s community initiatives are you most proud of and why?
I am proud of KMAD’s local economic development initiatives that support small businesses, which provide sustainable livelihoods for people living in the host communities. This work is vital for restoring family dignity and ensuring that community businesses can provide a secure future and a meaningful legacy for the next generation.
What is your personal motto?
Excellence sets you apart.
