Kenmare's corporate policies outline the Company's approach to responsible business practices. The policies are also available in Portuguese, the official language of Mozambique.
Kenmare is committed to operating in an ethical and honest manner. We have zero-tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities, and we believe in acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships.
Kenmare is committed to upholding the highest possible ethical standards. All our activities are conducted in accordance with our core values: Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (ICARE).
Kenmare accepts the scientific findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); supports the goals of the Paris Agreement; and acknowledges that business has a role to play in addressing climate change. In line with this position, we have set the ambition to achieve Net Zero by 2040 (Scope 1 & 2) and we will work to reduce emissions from operations as quickly as possible and offset emissions that are hard to abate.

We support the International Bill of Human Rights, including the UN Declaration of Human Rights; the International Labour Organisation’s Fundamental Conventions and Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work; and Part I, Chapter IV (Human Rights) of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

We encourage staff to report suspected wrongdoing as soon as possible, in the knowledge that their concerns will be taken seriously and investigated as appropriate, and that their confidentiality will be protected wherever possible.
Kenmare has a zero tolerance to modern slavery and child labour. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We expect the same high standards from all our contractors and suppliers. We expect them to adopt the same zero tolerance approach to the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children. We expect our suppliers to hold their own suppliers to the same standards.
